Account Manager, Beauty + Wellbeing, PR

 

We are looking for an Account Manager to join our Beauty + Wellbeing team.

 

Our newest PuRette will be creative, strategic, hardworking, a good team player, crazy about the beauty and wellbeing industry, and keen to develop and grow professionally within our team. They will represent the agency at all times, be a positive role model for more junior team members and bring energy and enthusiasm to the team.

Your responsibilities will include:

Client Activity 

  • Lead day-to-day communication with clients, build rapport and trust through skill and expertise

  • Play a key role in the research, planning and development of PR campaigns, events and partnerships, ensuring client satisfaction

  • Take the lead in the sell in of stories and secure high quality coverage to meet your team’s KPIs

  • Identify and recommend potential trend-led stories and pitch ideas to generate commercially-driven coverage

  • Manage the team’s creation of press materials (including e-blasts and press releases), mailers and strategy presentations

  • Set client programme goals and manage against them – setting clear internal objectives and deadlines to ensure all milestones are met

  • Have knowledge of and interest in: industry trends, competitor brands and their activity, commercial and above the line opportunities

  • Have thorough knowledge of media, what they have written/ posted recently, regular features and opportunities for PuRe’s clients

  • Keep up to date with leading social influencers, particularly within Instagram, YouTube and TikTok, as well as other emerging platforms

 

Working with the PuRe Team

  • Demonstrate excellent team skills, working to support senior team members and upskill junior team members

  • Manage, mentor and motivate the junior team members on a daily basis, providing a structed working environment to ensure results are delivered in a happy team

  • Work with the senior team to drive the business forward

  • Showcase excellent time management skills, be highly organised and analytical

  • Assist the Account Director with monitoring budgets across clients

  • Assist with content for PuRe PR platforms, sending images and sharing coverage with the Digital Team for social platforms

  • Work with the Digital Team to ensure they are kept up to date with client news and launches, feeding into PuRe PR’s digital strategy

 

About You

  • Already an experienced Senior Account Executive/ Account Manager with 3+ years’ PR experience, operating at Account Manager level

  • Personal contacts with most relevant UK media and influencers in the beauty and wellbeing space

  • Outstanding organisational skills

  • Ability to work at a fast pace and multitask, working simultaneously across multiple brands and projects

  • Thrive in a team environment and also happy to work independently

  • Attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to understand and interpret brand tone of voice

  • Ability to ‘read the room’ in a professional setting

  • Confident working with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Dropbox, WeTransfer, Google Docs/ Sheets
