Pantone, the colour experts, have announced that Greenery is the colour of the year for 2017. Featuring in the spring Fashion Colour Report as one of ten shades, Greenery has already been prominent across fashion and interiors, cars and technology alike. A bright departure from the pastel shades of Serenity and Rose Quartz that took 2016 by storm, Greenery is a zesty, yellow-green that is reminiscent of spring-time blooms, signifying when the great outdoors revives, restores and renews, this colour invites us to take a deep breath and refresh.

In an interview with the New York Times, executive director of the Pantone Colour Institute, Leatrice Eiseman commented: “We know what kind of world we are living in – one that is very stressful and very tense. This is the colour of hopefulness, and of our connection to nature. It speaks to what we call the ‘re-words’ – regenerate, refresh, revitalise, renew.”

With green being the new grey, introducing this beautiful, bold shade to the home couldn’t be easier. From elegant wallpapers and fabrics to sleek and stylish accessories, create a naturally vibrant and re-energising feel with our top homes and interiors picks:
