PR Week Honour Pure Public Relations in PR Power Book

Klaxons at the ready! PRWeek has just announced the 100 most influential people in the industry and we’re over the moon to announce that our co-founder Kelly Marks has been recognised in their Power Book. As well as this Pure was also included in the top 10 fashion, beauty and luxury-goods agencies.

PRWeek Editor-in-Chief Danny Rogers describes the book as “The biggest and best ever”.  The launch event at the hotel of the moment - The Ned - celebrated the best in the business and we are so excited to be a part of it.  It’s well aligned with our beliefs and highlights the power of communication. For those that aren’t familiar with PRWeek it is the most trusted name and leading voice of the communications industry in the UK.

2019 will see us celebrate 20 years of the agency, which continues to pride itself on its client-focused approach and commercially-driven results.  We’re helping our brands achieve some incredible results - such as ‘two months’ worth of sales over one weekend’ and ‘five months’ worth of sales in just five days’ – off the back of well-earned press coverage. All goals of strategic, hardworking PR coverage.

This celebration comes at an interesting time, with Kelly and her team having to think outside the box with more forward-thinking and innovative ideas than ever before, as the industry continues to shift its focus to online coverage and influencer partnerships. It’s an exciting time and this accolade is a huge celebration for not only the whole of the Pure team but every one of our clients, who we truly believe are the best in the business.

What’s next for Pure Public Relations? We have some new clients coming on board, are looking to expand our portfolio to incorporate more fast-moving beauty, a deeper look at well-being and developments in design and interiors too.  We have introduced a new digital team and continue to deliver a More + Better + Different approach for ourselves and our clients.

Top career tip? Do what you love and you’ll love what you do.

Lessons learnt along the way?  Go with your gut.  If it doesn’t feel right, it’s wrong. 

Work mantra? How could it be done better?  This helps us to constantly raise the bar.
