How Brand Events Drive Social Reach Beyond the Event

Brand events have changed. They are no longer just launch parties or one-night-only experiences - they are strategic brand-building moments designed to generate content, grow community and extend impact long after the final guest leaves.
For beauty brands, the most effective events now sit at the intersection of creative production, influencer marketing, brand storytelling and social-first experience design. Every detail needs to do more than look good in the room - it needs to drive engagement, encourage sharing and reinforce what the brand stands for.
That was exactly the thinking behind our recent partnership with Isle of Paradise, where PuRe supported the launch of Sunny Serum Instant Face Bronzer in Champagne. Our team led on creative direction, event production and guest list curation, delivering a beauty launch event in London designed to build buzz, immerse guests in the brand world and generate meaningful social conversation.
The goal was to create a beauty brand event that felt immersive, highly shareable and unmistakably Isle of Paradise.
More than a traditional product launch, the experience needed to bring the brand's world to life in a way that resonated with creators, tastemakers and guests with real influence.
The challenge with any beauty launch event is that guests expect more than a good setting and a drinks reception. They are looking for moments to capture, products to discover and experiences worth talking about online. That means every touchpoint has to work harder - both as a live experience and as a content opportunity.
We designed the event to feel like stepping into an Isle of Paradise store, with the wider collection showcased in a way that encouraged guests to explore, engage and connect with the brand. The focus was on creating an environment that felt both premium and playful, while making it easy for guests to create natural, high-quality social content throughout the evening.
PuRe led the creative and production thinking around the guest journey, ensuring each element contributed to the overall atmosphere while also delivering a reason to pause, participate and share. Alongside this, we curated a guest list built to balance relevance, reach and brand alignment - a crucial factor in driving the right kind of visibility for any influencer event.
Guests were welcomed into a multi-touchpoint beauty experience designed to keep energy high and interaction constant throughout the evening.
Key moments included:
A full brand world showcase, creating the feeling of walking into an Isle of Paradise store and discovering the broader product range in context.
A bespoke charm bar, adding a personal and playful element that encouraged dwell time and guest interaction.
Personalised embroidery on this summer's must-have net bag, giving guests a practical keepsake with built-in social appeal.
A dedicated shopping and brand education moment, allowing guests to engage more deeply with the product story and understand the wider collection.
A sundowner photo opportunity, designed to capture that golden-hour glow and create natural, high-impact content.
The viral tiramisu moment, which became one of the standout talking points of the evening and added a culturally relevant detail guests wanted to share.
Each detail was intentionally curated to create a brand experience that felt immersive, social-first and easy to talk about online. Rather than relying on a single hero moment, the event was designed to offer multiple layers of interaction - helping to increase content creation, deepen brand recall and encourage post-event conversation.
The event welcomed 120 guests, bringing together a carefully curated audience with the right mix of influence, relevance and affinity to the beauty space.
In just one evening, the event generated a social reach of 8 MILLION, demonstrating the value of combining strong creative, strategic guest list curation and an experience people genuinely want to share.
