PR Senior Account Executive, Interiors + Design

For each brand you work on, your team would include an Account Manager, an Account Director and myself.

PuRe is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic person with at least 2 years’ experience in PR with strong media contacts and great writing skills – ideally with contact in the interiors, property and luxury lifestyle sector and ability to lead teams. The successful ­­­candidate will

  • Be able to demonstrate a passion to work within interiors and design.

  • To support and implement the successful running of your designated accounts, as well as those within the company when required together with in house activity. 

  • To proactively instigate and secure coverage and meet client targets.

  • To liaise with clients, compile monthly reports, write press releases and assist with expert comment and quotes. 

  • Mentor team members, share knowledge, inspire, teach and support your team to get the best results for your brands.

  • Contribute to creative launch content and presentations.

  • Have an interest and good understanding of design led social media, digital and print media.

  • Work efficiently and with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Possess good communication skills both written and verbal, along with organisation and prioritising skills

  • Ability to work effectively to deadlines, thriving on constant change in a fast paced PR Agency

  • Have a can do attitude with experience of working effectively in a team 

  • Competent use of Microsoft Programmes and Design packages would be an advantage


Daily work will include

  • Regularly sell in stories, brand messaging and secure coverage

  • Identify and recommend potential trend-led stories and pitch ideas to generate coverage

  • Contribute to meeting your teams KPIs for monthly client coverage

  • Frequently demonstrate initiative and require little day-to-day direction/help prioritising work load

  • Take the lead with clients on topics such as samples/assets, whilst keeping a senior team member in Cc or in the loop

  • Suggest solutions for efficient working, drawing on experience

  • Creative brainstorming, feeding into strategy and planning

  • Showcase your verbal and written expertise and ability to act as a Pure PR spokesperson at media/client meetings


Social Media Management for @pureprlondon Interiors Division 

  • Be responsible for collating and uploading Interiors content on Instagram

  • Work directly with the digital team to ensure all relevant Interiors client news, coverage, launches and key pitches are scheduled into PuRe’s social media strategy (across Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter)

  • Assist with interiors content creation (behind the scenes on shoots, office send outs, events, meetings etc.) for Instagram stories and feed posts and the rare pitch collage design post

  • Share coverage with the Digital Team for our weekly roundup of results

  • Keep up to date on leading social influencers, particularly within Instagram, blogposts, Snapchat, Twitter and YouTube, as well as other emerging platforms

Client Activity – across all clients

  • Communicate with clients to outline strategy activities and assemble assets.

  • Regular press meetings, calls and new contact connections.

  • Develop press materials including feature and product pitches, design trends, quotes, e-blasts, cross client press releases, target media lists, etc., with sign off from a member of the senior team 

  • Client reporting and updating. We submit monthly reports to all clients – these are sent to the client on 1st of each month. 

  • Client administration. Including sample management, coverage/forthcoming coverage logs, etc. 

  • Have a keen interest in: industry trends, competitor brands and their activity, potential brands that fit within the PURE PR portfolio

  • Monitor the media heavily to ensure that you have a thorough knowledge of journalists, what they have written recently, regular features and opportunities

  • Event management. Assisting with sourcing sponsors and anything else needed, press liaison, managing the floor, guests etc.

  • Coverage monitoring. Checking social media thoroughly on a daily basis to see if any influencers or key media have been spotted name checking/using our gifted items. Monitoring all online titles for coverage


Internal Team

  • Media database management. Media move titles/positions on a daily basis. It will be part of your role to ensure that our databases are updated as and when there is a relevant announcement

  • Manage client image database

  • Assisting the account manager. Target press meetings and set up client meetings, manage samples in stock 

  • Demonstrate excellent team skills, working alongside senior members of the agency

  • Showcase time management and organisational skills 

  • Demonstrate initiative and skills in problem solving 

  • Be an excellent team player and pitch in where needed

  • Competitor analysis and research as required

  • Be eager to learn with an excellent attitude/work ethic
