Senior Account Executive, Beauty + Wellbeing

 

PuRe is an award-winning PR + Brand Communications agency.  We’re client centred, commercially driven for best in class brands and dedicated to Beauty + Wellbeing and Interiors + Design.

 

We are experts at PR, Social Media Management, Influencer Marketing, Digital Design and Talent Management + Licensing. 

 

We are looking for as Senior Account Exec to join our Beauty + Wellbeing team.

 

Our newest recruit will be creative, energetic, hard working, great with reporting, a good team player, crazy about the beauty and wellbeing industry and keen to develop and grow professionally within our team.

Previous experience at an internship level or junior position a bonus, not a necessity.

 

Your responsibilities will include:

​

Client Activity

• Coverage collation

• Daily client liaison reporting on coverage 

• Plan, attend and report on client meetings

• Assist with strategy, planning  and implement PR campaigns, partnerships and events 

• Create client reports and presentations with attention to detail 

• Create press materials including e-blasts, press releases, target media lists, etc. with sign off from a member of the senior team 

• Ideate and build mailers for launches

• Take the lead in the sell in of stories and secure coverage

• Have a good knowledge of and keen interest in: industry trends, competitor brands and their activity, commercial and above the line opportunities

• Identify and recommend potential trend-led stories and pitch ideas to generate commercially driven coverage

• Contribute to meeting your teams KPIs 

• Monitor the media heavily to ensure that you have a thorough knowledge of media, what they have written recently, regular features and opportunities etc.

• Planning out and prioritising your workload

 

Working with the PuRe team

• Demonstrate excellent team skills, working alongside junior and senior members of the agency

• Showcase time management and organisational skills 

• Demonstrate initiative and skills in problem solving 

• Be an excellent team player and pitch in where needed 

• Assist with content for Pure PR’s platforms, sending images and sharing coverage with the Digital Team for social and writing blog posts

• Work with the Digital Team to ensure they are kept up to date with client news and launches, feeding into Pure PR’s digital strategy

• Keep up to date on leading social influencers, particularly within Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter and YouTube, as well as other emerging platforms

• Be informed of media strategies, what competitors are doing and the commercial opportunities available

Skills / Experience​

• Impressive secondary school exam results  + Degree in relevant subject

• Previous internship, or work experience in relevant business a bonus

• Knowledge of the most relevant UK media and influencers in the beauty + wellbeing space

• Outstanding organisational skills

• A positive ‘can-do’ attitude

• Thrive in a team environment and also be happy to work independently 

• Ability to multitask, quickly working across different brands and projects

• Attention to detail

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to understand and interpret brand tone of voice

• Be able to ‘read the room’ in a professional setting 

• Confidence working with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Dropbox, We Transfer, Google Docs and social media platforms
