Senior Account Manager, Beauty + Wellbeing - PR

We are looking for a Senior Account Manager in our Beauty + Wellbeing Division

Your responsibilities will include:

Skills / Experience

  • Impressive secondary school exam results  + Degree in relevant subject

  • Minimum 3 years relevant experience

  • Personal contacts with most relevant UK media and influencers in the beauty + wellbeing space

  • Outstanding organisational skills

  • A positive ‘can-do’ attitude

  • Thrive in a team environment and also be happy to work independently 

  • Ability to multitask, quickly working across different brands and projects

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Fantastic written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to understand and interpret brand tone of voice

  • Be able to ‘read the room’ in a professional setting 

  • Sounds knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Dropbox, We Transfer, Google Docs,  and social platforms. 

 

Additional capabilities

Content creation, video editing, photographic skills and bringing something new to the table, a definite bonus!

 

Client Activity

  • Lead communication with clients, build rapport and trust through demonstrating expertise. 

  • Ensure client satisfaction and the success of campaigns

  • Sell in stories and secure coverage . Be the Lead to secure coverage across your client portfolio

  • Creatively and strategically plan and implement PR campaigns, partnerships and events 

  • Oversee the creation and completion of client reports and presentations with attention to detail 

  • PuRe client development , proactively thinking of ideas to benefit their businesses

  • Have excellent knowledge of and keen interest in: industry trends, competitor brands and their activity, commercial and above the line opportunities

 

Internal Team

  • Manage, mentor and motivate the junior team members on a daily basis providing a structured working environment to ensure results are delivered in a happy team

  • Manage the team’s creation of press materials, mailers, ideation etc.

  • Demonstrate excellent team skills, working alongside junior and senior members of the agency

  • Work with the Senior Team across the different divisions to drive the business

  • Showcase excellent time management skills, be highly organised and analytical

  • Assist the Account Director with monitoring time and budgets across clients 

 

Social Media + Digital Support

  • Assist with content for Pure PR platforms, sending images and sharing coverage with the Digital Team for social platforms

  • Work with the Digital Team to ensure they are kept up to date with client news and launches, feeding into Pure PR’s digital strategy

  • Keep up to date on leading social influencers, particularly within Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok and YouTube, as well as other emerging platforms

  • Be informed on media strategies from other brands, media and agencies globally

  • Share commercial opportunities available
